Benchmarking performance

Benchmarking is a process of comparing the performance of an organisation against others, and using the lessons from the best to make improvements.
Many performance measurement and KPI systems are set up to provide information about how well a company is doing against its own targets.

• But, how well is it doing when it is compared with industry best practice?

A benchmarking survey will provide the answers. Using the UK Construction Industry KPIs as the basis, Amazia can analyse existing performance measurement systems and compare results against national benchmark performance.

The output is a benchmarking report showing where the organisation is strong or weak against current best practice, and where it needs to modify its data collection process to comply with the national standard definitions.

A benchmark report can be completed within a few days, and provides the answer to the question: “How well are we doing against the best in the industry?”
