KPIs for companies and frameworks
We have extensive experience helping individual companies and complex frameworks to set up KPI and benchmarking systems. We use an intuitive 7 step process which breaks down the KPI project into manageable tasks.
We work in partnership with our clients and our aim is to leave senior managers in control of their own business, but, at the same time, to challenge their thinking and maintain a focus on best practice.
The 7 steps are:
- 1.Decide what to measure – selecting KPIs that meet the needs of the company and its clients.
- 2.Collect data – advice and guidance on gathering reliable data which conforms with national definitions.
- 3.Calculate KPIs – the steps needed to turn data into information that can be benchmarked.
- 4.Report results – ensuring that the results are easy to understand.
- 5.Analyse results - well reported results will show where strengths and weaknesses lie.
- 6.Take action – the whole purpose of the performance management system is to improve performance.
- 7.Measure again – systematic performance measurement is key to long term success and improvement.
